We rely on people working in schools, for non-profits and within the judicial system to refer women who are experiencing an unexpected crisis or problem that isn’t handled by area social service agencies or government.
Our role is not to replicate services provided by food pantries, clothing closets, housing agencies, etc. In other words, we do not cover ongoing monthly expenses, such as rent or utility payments. Our express desire is to fill a need that might otherwise slip through the cracks because it doesn’t fit the criteria of other programs. For examples, see Ways We Help.
